Is My Website Blocking Google?
The first question is does Google know about my website? If they don’t know it exists then well that’s probably the answer. It find out go to the Google search page and type in
instead of yoursite.com actually enter the name of your website. What you should see is a result for every page in your website, if you see a bunch of listings then you are are not blocking Google.
What It My Google Results Are Blank?
First thing you do is find something to knock over, nothing huge or regrettable but it should have a little weight to it…. What is a sitemap and do I have one?
It is not enough just to unblock your site though, Google wants you to give them your content in a easily digestible form. That form is called Sitemap, do you have one? One way to test your site is to look for the file online. Go to
You should see a bunch of code that does not make a whole lot of sense. If you do not then you may not have a sitemap delivering up your goodies in a nice presentation.
